How to Exercise Without Actually Exercising

I know right!?

Seriously, a lot of folks can’t stand “going to the gym”. What are they to do? Be sick and weak forever? Fall pray to the absolute BANE of inactivity in our current existence and turn into the fat people in floating chairs in Wall-E? I hope not. But that’s where we are headed. People are literally ceasing to do damn near everything that involves moving your ass around or performing any type of physical work, even for a moment. I’ll say it again, we are not even taking responsibility anymore for moving our own bodies through space. Think I’m exaggerating? Go down to Walmart for a few hours and just watch. I’m not exaggerating.

So here are some basic concepts to get moving if you hate going to the gym or “working out”. Yes I know my ideas are unbelievable simple.  But you have to change the way you look at things on a daily basis, in this case opportunities to move, bear a load and DO WORK. You have to realize the importance of maintaining your physical agency.

Every opportunity you miss puts you that much closer to the end. If you don’t use it you WILL lose it. And that’s no bullshit.

So quit taking the elevator everyday in your two story building at work and take the stairs instead. That way you’ll help preserve your choice in the matter.
